WHAT TO LOOK FOR AFTER YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPAIRED

We understand that correctly repairing your vehicle is only half the job. The other half is making you happy, and providing the kind of service you can rely on for years to come.

Touch Ups

No matter how perfect your new paint job is, your car may be subjected to parking-lot scratches, rock chips and other unfortunate damage. If you touch these up as soon as they appear, you will prevent further damage in the future.

  • Always touch up nicks in the paint immediately.

  • Keep your touch up paint in a cool place, out of the sunlight.

Making Your New Paint Last

Now that your car has been restored, we would like to help you preserve your investment. Here are some helpful hints to follow during these critical first few months while your paint is curing.

First Three Months:

  • Rinse your car before washing to remove any grit.

  • Wash your car in the shade.

  • Make sure the surface is cool before you begin.

  • Never use hot water.

  • Avoid car washes with high-pressure washers.

After Three Months:

  • Rinse your car before washing to remove any grit.

  • Wash your car frequently, preferably by hand.

  • For heavy soil, use a mild liquid soap.

  • Wash your car in the shade.

  • Rinse completely, then dry with a chamois or terry cloth.
